About Identity Abounds

Linda de Wit
Trainer and intercultural consultant
Hello, I’m Linda. I founded Identity Abounds to help international teams work better across differences — in culture, personality, communication styles, and ways of working.
Having spent most of my career in international contexts, my work is grounded in my professional experience as a corporate trainer as well as in my own lived experience of navigating different cultural and professional environments.
At Identity Abounds I work together with a trusted network of experts, allowing us to tailor our approach to the specific context, challenges, and ambitions of different organizations.

Pictures show moments from workshops and presentations delivered in Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and Malta.
The story behind Identity Abounds
Throughout my career I moved between countries, cultures, and languages. I have lived and worked across four continents, with a focus on the Middle East and Europe. Along the way I learned to speak seven languages and grew more and more fascinated by our differences and by what happens beneath the surface: how identity, culture, and personality interact.
I found myself increasingly surprised to see culture and personality treated as separate themes in corporate contexts. One day teams were trained in cross-cultural communication; another day they explored personality types. Yet both were trying to answer the same question: how are we different, and how do we understand one another well enough to work together effectively?
I created Identity Abounds to offer a more integrated approach; a more holistic alternative to one-sided workplace development. One that brings together the different dimensions that shape how we work and interact, and that focuses on using those differences as a source of insight, adaptability, and growth rather than as issues to overcome.
By connecting perspectives that often remain siloed or confined to academic research or approaches to personal growth, I help organizations make sense of differences without reducing them to stereotypes or checklists, motivated by a belief in the depth of human potential.
The work I do is shaped by the combination of my experience and my research into these topics. If you’re curious about the thinking behind Identity Abounds, you’ll find it in my writing. My articles explore the ideas that inform the approach of Identity Abounds and the work we do with organizations. Read here:
